Somatic Therapy

Somatic therapy involves viewing our experiences of life and the world as being shaped by our mind, our body and our energetic spirit. We are whole beings and addressing how we experience living, in its broadest sense, can help us to explore and develop sustainable ways to exist upon the earth. When talking therapy alone has limitations we can turn to the memories and the experiences that are carried and held within our bodies and our energetic experiences to learn and change how we move forward.

This can involve using approaches like mindfulness techniques. Exploring how using our breath can open new channels of possibility for regulation within the systems that sustain life within our bodies. How movement of our limbs and joints can free our body and contribute to movement in our minds and our thoughts.
